Interesting Facts

Along with the western lowland gorilla, the Cross River gorilla is one of the two western gorillas. It lives near the Cross River. This flows along the border between Nigeria and Cameroon. According to estimates from 2016 there are 100-250 animals left (as of November 2023; no more recent data available).
