Venomous Animals in Germany

Are there venomous animals in Germany? Let's find out!

There are lots of dangerous animals in exotic countries like Ecuador or Columbia as well as Africa and Australia. They have highly effective venom that can be fatal to us humans. The skin around a snake bite can rot, or contact with a box jellyfish can result in serious burns and circulatory problems.

In most cases, these animals don’t want to attack us. We’re not on their menu. But accidents can happen, because we corner animals and they panic.

What about Germany? Are there any venomous animals here? Yes, but their venom isn’t deadly. Unless you’re allergic. But it’s still a good idea to find a doctor.
