Ugliest Dog 2015: Quasi Modo
In 2015, Quasi Modo beat around 26 other dogs to win the title. He has an unusually short back and a hump. That’s why he was named after the hunchback of Notre Dame. This dog also has very long legs, which make him look like a hyena. Quasi Modo is a cross between a Dutch Shepherd and a Pit Bull and was adopted from a rescue center.
Ugliest Dog 2014: Peanut
This Chihuahua and Shih Tzu cross impressed the jury in 2014. This dog’s lips and eyelids are extremely deformed and it has little fur due to being abused as a puppy. Thankfully, he found a loving owner that took him under her wing and gave him a loving home despite his appearance.
Ugliest Dog 2013: Walle
A Beagle, Basset and Boxer cross stole the show in 2013. With his large head, short fat body and hump, he waddled onto the stage and straight into the audience’s hearts.
Ugliest Dog 2012: Mugly
8-year-old Chinese Crested Mugly bested the competition in 2012. Believe it or not: Mugly is a rescue dog. And pretty sweet, right?
