IP Address

Whenever you use the internet, you automatically leave information behind, like a footprint in the sand. The same goes for visits to But just like with a footprint, we won’t know your name, address or any other personal information. We only collect information e.g. which pages have been clicked on or how long someone spent exploring - without knowing who that person is.

This information is transferred from your computer using your “IP address” (IP stands for “internet protocol”). This “address” doesn’t tell anyone the street you live on or the city you live in. It’s just a long number that you couldn’t use the internet without. On, your IP is automatically shortened (“anonymized”) so that we can only see part of your footprint.
